    1x Modernist 'Lamstak' Stacking Armchair for Esavian 
    English design classic by James W Leonard for the Education Supply Association (Esavian Ltd). c. 1948. Elegant examples of post-war British modernism. This is made from beech ply throughout, including the lovely curved leg assemblies with red leatherette seats .
    Marked to the back with an ESA manufacturers roundel, this LAMSTAK ( short for laminated stackable chair) is a contemporary with the iconic 1946 Eames bent ply chair, and the design utilizes the same post-war medium of plywood formation, brought about from advances in the aero-construction industry
     
    The size is 82cm high max 57cm wide at the arms 64cm high at arms
     
    45cm seat height 52cm depth .
     
    Condition report: Great design and chair leatherette material has been replaced so in excellent condition  see photos
     
     
    Due to size and weight delivery by Van Furniture courier, we can deliver for a flat rate £50 within 100 miles from our Bourne warehouse base at PE109LA.
