1x Vintage ex RAF desk armchair in light oak bentwood frame
and a black leatherette seat, this chair B has the A/M for Air Ministry
The Air Ministry in the UK existed from January 3, 1918, to April 1, 1964.
It was established to manage the affairs of the Royal Air Force and civil aviation.
and also stamped to the underside
A/C for Air Council stamped on the underside.
The Air Council, which governed the Royal Air Force, was dissolved in 1964 when the Air Ministry merged with the other armed forces ministries to form the Ministry of Defence.
The size is 54cm wide at armrests, 69.5cm high at armrests
42cm seat deep 50cm high seat 54cm deep by frame, and 86cm high max.
